As a website owner, you probably want to know how much traffic your website is receiving. Most websites want to use Google Analytics, but that comes with a lot of additional headache in terms of managing visitor data and not to mention, trying to interpret all the data. Fortunately, I am happy to offer a solution that keeps privacy in mind while also giving you just the data you need, via Plausible Analytics.
Privacy at the forefront
Analytics Services, enables you to get completely anonymous, no personal data based analytics on your website. Even still, all data is stored on European servers. Since you're not collecting any identifiable information or leveraging cookies, there's no need for huge pop-ups telling your users this website has cookies. This is all powered by Plausible Analytics, which you can learn more about on their website.
Easy to understand data
Because the core product does not focus on hoovering up every scrap of data from your visitors, the data that is presented is far more minimal but incredibly more actionable. You're able to see the number of views, on what particular pages, for how long the user stayed, etc. You can even have weekly and monthly reports sent to your email so you can get a high level summary, without needing to drill down into the data.
Go further with Advanced
The Advanced edition of Analytics, offers a managed experience for your website, with your website being run on my Plausible account. One of the key benefits of Advanced, is that the solution gets deployed behind your website. What this means is that traditional ad-blocks, shouldn't detect your analytics script, meaning you gain more accurate data into your website. Of course, if you would rather this disabled, that's perfectly okay. But, we tend to agree with Plausible themselves, that all website owners have a right to basic, non-identifiable analytics of their website.
Pricing
Analytics Services is available in two editions, Basic and Advanced.
Basic, is free of charge and involves you creating your own Plausible Analytics account and providing me with the code snippet that they will generate for you, to install on your website. As you will be managing your own Plausible account and paying your own subscription, there are no further charges or features with Basic, beyond the initial install of the service.
Advanced is available in monthly and annual plans, with an allocation of 20,000 page views per month, with additional views available by contacting me. The features provided by Advanced edition, such as the proxy, will be deployed with your website once the subscription term starts and the work is scheduled. Please note that any unused page views at the end of a billing month, do not carry over to the next billing month.
