A quick summary about me

Hello! I'm based out of Cork, Ireland, working full time in tech as a Senior DevOps Software Engineer with C.H. Robinson. Primarily I help to maintain the infrastructure that powers the development lifecycle of the applications built by the company. I love to blog, sharing my thoughts and experiences as I go on various journey's with my hobbies. For the most part I talk about self hosting and other bits of technology that I encounter in my life, but I also touch on my own life from time to time. I also maintain a small side business, helping out with peoples websites or even introducing technology into their homes in a way that tries to not have a huge reliance on big tech and maintain a sense of privacy. Some delayed updates on dipping my toe back into EVE

I should have posted this a while ago, but I’ve been busy with other things.

I’m trying to get all my ducks in a row in New Eden. There’s definitely some more plate spinning going on at first than I expected. But I think that’s to be expected. I already have one of my first orders, which fortunately the customer is not in a huge rush. I imagine I will have some screwups so I appreciate the time being given. I’m also trying to learn some new tools, just to give myself the best foundation for success. Some look quite promising so I am happy with that.
